Nail of the day:alien in spired nails

I really LOVE this nail style.
  i was inspired, well my mom whether, was inspired by another blog .We used tape to make the design.the first step is optional , we used tips because my nails were looking horrid.Then you apply a base coat. Once that is fully dry, you paint the color of your stripe. You paint the full nail, in this picture i used grass slipper by Sally Hansen. Next when that is fully dry, you put a strip of tape over wherever you want the stripe.Then you paint the color you want the outside to be.you carefully peel the tape off the nail. Apply a top coat and your done.
